THE TOUR:

The Tour starts with a magnificent walk on the edge of extinct craters in order to understand the structure of the Volcano and the lifecycle of an eruption. Afterwards, equipped with strings, torches and helmets you will visit a lava cave and back on the 4WD you will climb up an ancient lava flow in order to reach one of the most breathtaking sceneries that Mt Etna gives us, such as the renowned “Valle del Bove”. For lunch we will enjoy a typical Sicilian lunch (full menu, drinks included) and excellent Etna wines.

After lunch an easy trail, suitable for all ages and abilities nestled in the magnificent Alcantara Valley.

Let us lead you through the ruins of the ancient Arab and Norman dominations, then we’ll cross a small hydroelectric plant reaching Ciappa Mill one of the first electric source of the area, dated 800 AD. From this site we will follow an easy path along the river Alcantara reaching the Gurne, 16 small lakes carved out by the river flow into the rocks, creating a unique scenery.
